The Berkeley College New Jersey men's soccer team has earned a bid to the USCAA Division I Men's Soccer Small College National Championships following a 9-5-2 regular season that saw the Knights qualify for the NACIA Tournament. Following the announcement of the bid, Head Coach Matthew DaCosta expressed how proud he is of his team.
"These student-athletes have worked incredibly hard during this 2025 campaign to earn this opportunity, and now to see them once again have a chance to prove themselves on the biggest stage is very gratifying," DaCosta said. "As a team, I feel as though we've continued to improve, and continued to develop chemistry and confidence. We're all ready for what lies ahead, and we can't wait to get to Coraopolis."
The USCAA Championships feature a six team modified FIFA style pool play with two pools of three teams. The winner of each pool advances to the National title game. Berkeley College, which earned the No. 4 seed, will compete in Pool A on Friday, November 14 and Saturday, November 15. The other two teams in the pool are No. 1 seeded Bryant & Stratton-Syracuse, and No. 5 seeded Salem University.
Whichever team earns the most points in Pool A will advance to the National title game against the survivor of pool B, which consists of No. 2 Five Towns College, No. 3 UMFK, and No. 6 Bryant & Stratton (Rochester).
The championship game is set for Sunday, November 16, at 2:00pm.
