The Berkeley College Department of Athletics announced its 2017 women's soccer schedule on Tuesday afternoon. The Knights will compete in five matches during the upcoming campaign – all regional conference matches – with the goal of solidifying a berth in late October's Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament.
The Knights will begin their season against the Lions of The King's College (NY) on Wednesday evening, September 27. Five days later, Berkeley College will play one of its two home games on the schedule – a Monday night clash with the Blue Angels of the College of New Rochelle. That match will take place at Aviator Field in Brooklyn, NY.
On Saturday, October 7, the Knights will visit Pratt Institute, and it will mark Berkeley College's first-ever conference match against the Cannoneers, as Pratt Institute will be a conference team moving forward. A week later, the Knights will host Albany College of Pharmacy on Saturday, October 14. That date will be Senior Day for the Knights. Berkeley College then wraps up its regular season portion of the schedule against the Mighty Oaks of SUNY-ESF on Sunday, October 22, in Syracuse, NY.
Should Berkeley College qualify for the HVIAC tournament, the Knights play a semifinal round game on Saturday, October 28, at Albany College of Pharmacy. If the Knights win that prospective match, they will play in the championship game on Sunday, October 29, at the same venue.
